I got my "new" frame last night. I had to take a picture of it as soon as I could. I did the same thing of the last frame I bought for it, in 1978!
This time my 10 year old boy and I were out there checking it out.
By the way I got it thru the swap forum here on Stovebolters from "JayinCa" and he was great. He lives about three hours away from here in the same town as my brother. I bought the frame months ago then sent my brother to get a bell housing, then he finally was able to grab the frame yesterday, along with some other stuff I needed. Jay was very accommodating, THANKS Jay!
It looks pretty rusty in the photo but it is pretty much surface and will clean up nicely with a sand blasting.
I am swapping out the last "new" frame I bought because I had put a Camaro front clip on it a number of years ago and I decided I don't want it. I am going with a dropped axle, posi springs and a 56-57 Passenger car rearend, (anyone know where I can get one?) Just as it had when I drove it to highschool in '77.
