I agree with Tony M. I can't imagine there would be any real big kick above 3000 rpm. The poor engine at that speed is already looking for a plot at the local cemetary.
I have a 4 speeder with granny and 4.11's. My typical shift rpm between 2nd -->3rd and 3rd --> 4th is 2,200. My truck would hate me if I went beyond that. 2,200 happens to also be the rpm at my fastest highway speed 57+mph,,,,,, or so.
