Welcome aboard. As I first started reading your post, I was thinking what a great thing it would be to do some work on the truck to surprise him. But you were ahead of me. He's a lucky man! Be sure to remind him of that!
There are a number of women restoring old bolts on this site so you are not alone! You should be able to locate many things for your truck by noodling around on the internet. There are a number of suppliers of body and cab parts. Not sure how much you will be doing yourself but if you post specific questions there will surely be someone here who has an answer. At the very least you'll get some opinions and some good laughs!!!
