The 261 in one of my 54s has the shorter one but I might have changed it 30 years ago. Many of the original 261s came with PCV systems - neither of the draft tubes you show are for a PCV system. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
