Today I purchased a set of rims and tires from a 2005 GMC 3/4 ton diesel. These are factory aluminum wheels with a 16" 8-lug pattern. Looks like my '63 c20 has 1/2" wheel studs on the hubs, whereas GM switched over to 14mm wheel studs starting in 1988(atleast the 3/4 tons) I would like to use the '05 Wheel covers these came with and I found this supplier of retrofit lug nuts for stock GM wheels

I would like to find lug nuts with 1/2"x20 inside thread count, yet are beveled wide enough enough on the face contacting the wheel to safely retain the newer 14mm style wheels.
