Thanks for the offer of a ride Cliff59. Although she doesn't remember a lot about it, we had a mint green 1958 Apache when we moved to Austin in 1966. Youngest son, then age two, rode the entire distance from Arlington to Austin standing beside me in the seat of that 1958 Apache.
My sister lives in your city. Also a retired nephew lives there who at present is restoring a 1938 GMC firetruck. I believe I invited him to join the Forum but don't know if he ever joined.My wife and I both grew up closeby and have family near Mineral Well. We come up every two or three months for a visit. Would love to see your blue Apache.
