I've got the power steering conversion done, while retaining my original front axle, and doing nothing more than drilling 3 holes in the frame, and getting a custom pitman arm made. U-Joints in the steering column are also required, but easily done and found. Take a peak under the '76 and lower Dodge 1/2 full sized 4X4 trucks, youll find a Saginaw box thats
the same style as the original Sawinaw that Chevy used, only heavier duty and with the addition of a power circuit. And thanks for the info on the brakes, just had to double check.
