I am new to the world of inline 6s and need some help. I recently aquired a 62 C10 Stepside with the motor and tranny sitting in the bed. I dont know if this is the original engine and trans, but I am going to try to get them up and running none the less. My question is, is this a 230 or a 250? Heres the numbers I found on it. Drivers side: CON2 D177 3877178 GM 44. Pass side: 34 7178. From Inliners.org the 3877178 means its a 62-78 230-250 from Buick, Olds, chevy, Pontiac or GMC. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
