Since the wheel is 'off-center' and it turns further one way than the other, it seems to me that the drag link it currently has is too long (and should have an adjusting sleeve). Browsing through my parts catalogues, the link that's in there looks like a part for an earlier truck.
I wouldn't recommend drugs, alcohol, and violence to anyone...but they've worked well for me.
