Fisher Body was originally a seperate company that GM early on bought majority ownership of, and by about 1930 they bought it all and made it a division of GM - I think GM quit tagging stuff 'Fisher' in the 70's, and in 83[?] Buick and Fisher Body were joined in one plant ... Fisher Body Division
