I have a couple thousand miles on my 64 I bought w/bad core plugs, I pulled engine & replaced all the plugs, all is well. Knew it before I bought it, knew I could fix it. The cheap rebuilder style plugs are thin as paper. Plugs had just rusted away. Brian
