For a somewhat temporary fix while you wait for parts you could also check the position of the window crank handle. Reposition it so the weight of the crank will pull down on the regulator to pull the window up as you drive along rather than pull it down if it 180 degrees opposite. I seem to remember a thread about this a while back, not sure which forum it was in though.
