I am installing a 1954 235 into a 1946 half ton frame. My question is does the rear motor mounts support the bellhouesing up off the rear engine crossmember or does the bellhouseing / crossmember have metal to metal contact. I have ordered several sets of mounts from J. Carter but as I mentioned, I'm a new guy. What grade bolts should be used for the vertical / horizontal connections. Stumped. Great forum. | | |
