I have a 350, mild cam, 327 heads which were on when I bought the truck. It had a q-jet that was beyond worn out. I put on the Performer intake, which raised my vacuum 2", more vacuum is good for torque. I also put on a 600 cfm Holley. I went in to buy an Edelbrock, my parts guy had the Holley on the shelf and cut the price of the Holley to match. Eventually, I would like to buy the Edelbrock q-jet, but that's down the road a ways.
