I just became a new owner of a 1955 Chevy 3100 a couple of weeks ago. It has had quite a bit of work done on it, but needs plenty more. I have been searching for a site where useful information is exchanged, and think I have found it here.
I have a couple of quick questions regarding this era truck.
1. Is the heater fan supposed to run with the key off? (mine does)
2. Are the turn signals supposed to self cancel? (mine don't)
I have ordered some manuals for the truck, but can't wait to start wrenching. I hope I am not asking questions that have been beaten to death here.
