| | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 321 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 321 | i have one of the window thermador car coolers versions too. works o.k. as long as you're moving. what i liked about this one was it was 6 volt, will plug nicely into my existing switch and will fit pretty well under the dash on the passenger side just like the original heater did. i need to make a bracket to hang it on but that will be easy to do.
the "lamp" cord is obviously an alteration made by some p.o. and has already been removed to make way for some original style wiring.
i'm working on getting all the little dents and dings taken out of it and going through the rest of the unit. found a small hole in one corner that should be easy to weld up and grind smooth before sandblasting and painting it up nice and new. | | |
