Check ebay freequently. NOS steering wheels do pop up from time to time. You may be able to get one for less than $100. You might also try getting a spare steering wheel and refinishing it at you leasure. Restoring a steering wheel looks like a big PITA. You have to take the time to do it right or else it won't last or look to good.
