Thanks for the info, Bill. I've attempting flaring only twice. The first time, I failed to move the connections to the ends before bending, causing them to jig-lock mid-length. The second time, I made a wonderful line (with fittings on the ends!) but sadly, it was a mirror image of what I needed. I learned that you can't simply twist the line into submission.
I tend to make lots of "practice parts."
