ICBC (the insuarence company) has what is know as collector plate which save us money. To get collector insurance the vehicle must be original a limited edition over 15 years old, over 25 years or if it is 1958 or older you can also get what is called a modified collector plate. With these modified plate you can change the colour, the moter, the transmissions, everything. As my pickup is a 1959 Model year and was most likely made in 1958 I am not sure if it can be a modified collector or not. Knowing when it was made may help.
