any hood ornament on 55-59 trucks was an option, dealer installed - the 57 had 2 "rocket" thingies that bolted to the wind split ridges,
top left here , and the plane ornaments shown on that page for 55 & 56 were used on cars and trucks both - never heard of any specific to the 58/9
