| | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | The way I understand it, they are cast iron. never heard of steel used for a piston, only rods and cranks. I suppose that someone might have made a steel piston, but it wasn't GM.
