The only thing that goes through the firewall are the two copper pipes to which the in and out hoses connect and two studs/bolts that have a wingnut on the engine side of the firewall. It has Harrison on the front on the door flap. On mine the bottom half of the round part is a door flap that you open up to let the heat/air out. From looking, it seems like these come in many shapes and sizes!
