Let's talk grease. Chasis lubricating grease.
I have one of those small grease guns and have been using Lithium Grease in it for several years. I use that particular grease because when I go to buy grease, the only kind they have for those guns is Lithium Grease. Here's the deal - I'm not sure what Lithium Grease is or if it's good or not. I hear comments about "gold" grease, but I don't see it packaged for these small grease guns and "gold" grease may be more for wheel bearings. The reason I am questioning this is because when I had my "U" joints built, I found a more clear or "gold" grease in them. Again that's a bearing and that's probably bearing grease.
