I have a '52 3600.
I also have a '55 1/2 ton rear. Believe it
or not, the spring perch spacing on the 1/2 ton
rear is almost identical to the spacing on the
stock 3/4 ton rear. I don't know if it would be the same on yours or not. However, the inclination of the 1/2 perches looked like it
would throw off the pinion angle of the 3/4 ton drive line.
Also, if you got a hold of some AD half ton spindles, I believe they could be installed on the 3/4 ton axle by reaming the bushings.
