I managed to booger up the threads on my 948R (1938) delco remy generator armature and cannot figure out what size the threads are! The chevy master parts catalog shows it to be 5/8 x 20, but it is wrong. It is bigger than 5/8 and smaller than 3/4. The tool salesmen just look at me like am nuts (a fair assessment).
Anybody know what size die will fix this?
