there's been much animated discussion of VIN's here - these trucks did have vin's, just not the type currently in use - engine numbers weren't used anywhere past about 54 - your CDN title should have a box that's labeled "VIN/Serial#" and to the MV folks, they terms are interchangeable for things older than 80 or so

the CDN vin conventions were different than the US ones, and GMC is different than Chev, and you'll not find any site that has any real info about them, especially GMC - your # 3c91534604719a is your vin - not sure about the 60's breakdowns, but the 3c should be the year [63?], the 9153 prolly indicates the model/weight, 4 the style [pu?] and the rest may show engine/trans and is the production sequence#, which is the real serial#
