3100 = 6 lug rear ends vs. 8 luggers on 3600's
having to upgrade and /or find replacement parts is an issue
be it the front end and wanting disc brakes ... not available in 8 lugs
upgrading the rear end to a modern rear ratio and doing so in a 10 or 12 bolt, 6 lug to match the front
issues and availability of replacement parts makes the 3100 more desirable to run. resale is better.
but my 3104 can almost pull a tree if i had a std. tranny, w/ 7:1 - 1st.
yes i do like 3600 on a small frame.
i also like to stop because it's a daily driver. the disc's are nice
but it's your choice
