I've seen the 12v LED bulbs that fit the stock sockets (1156 single terminal and 1157 double) at truckstops and autoparts stores everywhere for about $10 each. The led bulbs look like this and I think they come in clear, amber and red:

If there is at least one incandescent bulb in the turn signal circuit you probably don't need an led flasher.
