| | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 27 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2005 Posts: 27 | I pulled all the sheet metal from my 55.5 1/2 ton then noticed the frame is bent in the front just before were the firewall was. I would like to get a straight frame with IFS. I heard that a 2wd 73-87 1/2 ton short box chevy will work. Or a s-10 2wd extended cab frame would work. Does anyone have any information on this. If so how much fabing would be needed to pull this off. What are the pros and cons.
