Same with the hot side. If so replce the sending unit. I like to replace it every time I get a vehicle with a hot warning light. There is no easy way to tell if the hot side is working untill it,s to late. To remove the wire from the holder put a tiny screwdriver in the front of the term. where there is a small recess. It should pull out.
