It used to be that Ford transmissions used something different, but the more recent Fords use the same stuff GM automatics use, so most of what you find on a shelf should be the right thing.
Using the wrong stuff will affect shifting and could lead ot other troubles, so its worth reading the container to be sure of what you have.
