Excuse the spelling, or maybe I should say the mis-spelling.
Pebble Beach is one of several Concourse DeElegance shows where antique vehicles are judged and awarded points on originality and quality. Being "correct" for the year/car is paramount. If a car normally came from the factory with overspray in a certain area and your restoration didn't have the correct amount of overspray in those areas you would be penalized. If, in this case, wide whitewalls weren't offered from the factory you would lose points in the judging if your truck had wide whitewalls. If you ever hear someone refer to a "high point" car, that is what they are referring to, a car of extremely high quality and originality.
