Rattletrap 52 Wrench Fetcher R Joined: May 2004 Posts: 351 Southern Cal	Got everything ready to re-assemble the steering linkage. But can't get the ball to slip into the socket with just one open cup. Sure can't compress the backing spring. This is just the tie rod end on a steering knuckle. What about the steering connecting rod where one side is really shallow? Thanks ahead of time, -jeff
