Toyvo Shop Shark T Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 687 Nacogdoches, Texas	Barry, some 12V coils have ignition(ballast) resistors. Some have internal resistence. A 6V coil on a 12V system has to have a ballast(ignition) resistor. Or you will toast the points. I didn't do it, no one saw me do it, you can't prove anything! "Bart Simpson"
