The Caballero is the same as the El Camino, but with the GMC badges on it. Most of the ones I've run across seem to be more of a work model, vs. the Camino, which seems to be a little more dressed. Mine originally was a 229v6, 3spd floor shift, bench seat, non-a/c model. As for car or truck, I think that is a long debated question and depends who you talk to
