'51, 3100, 235...I was driving around this morning, in town, 30 mph. When I had to slow for a car in front, I downshifted to 3rd gear. Just as I started to accellerate, I felt a "bump" and heard a noise. The truck started a howling that was sickening. I had to drive it for a block. It only howls when on even throttle or accellerating. With my head out the window it sounds like Tranny (SM420).
Will someone please tell me what I might start looking for? I was gonna drive it to K.C, MO tomorrow but that is out.
