I looked at a pre 235 c.i. truck once and it had a big gash in the hood from launching a fan blade thru it after a 235 was put in it, and have heard several times since from old timers that that was common when people put in a later engine but still used the early fan blade,they wern't made for higher RPM's or torque or??? truth or fiction? I don't know, and I didn't buy the truck btw.
Can I add a question to a question? Were there 5 bladed fan blades used on bigger trucks that work better on the little trucks?, I heard this somewhere, and since I'm towing an old camper trailer I'd like all the extra I can get,,,,,ALOHA!!!
