You're right. Later model speedo guts are about the same as earlier units. They have the same tumblers and have those little clock-spring thingies and everything else. I have a couple of them in a box just in case. The only difference I've noticed is that the older units have threads, and later ones have a shove-on-til-it-clicks speedo cable attachment. | | |
