chevy 1 thanks. , thats sounds like the best way. i will see if my welder who has the truck now will do that for me.i'm using a gennie shifter for ky automatic and really dont want to have to deal with eliminating the hadle form a van column. could you take any pics of this procedure? ididit sells a firewall braket for onlyu twenty bucks so maybe i'll order that. also, my local junk yard has an old hot rod guy that owns it and suggested i add another core to the stock radiator. will this provide enough cooling or should i just shell out the 275 for a catalog one? thanks.
