Baldy Member B Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,029 Glide, Oregon	Most vehicles in the U.S. were titled with the engine number untill somewhere around the mid fifties, many makes didn't have a body serial number which many mistakenly refer to as a VIN number.
