i know to run 80w90 but i was told that when running 80w90 in a tranny or t-case that your not spose to have any GL content in it, you could get by with GL-1 but GL-0 is preferable cause from what i unstood that GL stuff is the amount of rubber particles in the oil that help the oil stick to gears (in rear ends) and that it'll clog up bearings in a tranny or t-case thuss keeping oil out then causing them to fail so what kinda of oil should i run then? straight weight 30? or higher?
