I have figured out that it is a 250. Thanks for the tip about the motor mounts. I have a 350 that is sitting about 5 feet from the truck. I am very tempted to drop it in but I am going to stay the course and restore this truck to original. There are more of them out there that have been changed that I thought I would go factory. When I started the truck and drove it on the trailer I was instantly taken back 28 years to when I was a kid I would drive a truck just like this one to the dairy farmer that I was working for mother's house to feed the calves. My dad would stand in the front yard and chuckle as I would lug it up the road as I wasn't very good at shifting with the worn linkage. Thanks to all for the help. I am in the process of pulling the head and crossing my fingers that it is the head gasket.
