Thanks for the reply,Steve. At one time a gentleman in the North West area of Detroit was restoring a '39 Sub, but I lost touch with him and later was told by someone that he died. I know General Motors own a 1946 Suburban, red with black fenders. Also, I had been in touch with a person in California the had both a '38 and a '39 but decided the '38 was in better shape for restoration.
