I recently sold a 52 that was a driver in "good" condition on E-Bay for $6,500.
I'm getting close to possibly selling another one. It's nicer, and closer to original. It'll require a fair amount over that $6,500 to get that one.

At an auction, you're pretty much at the mercy of your peers. You might walk away with a bargain, or you could get caught up in a bidding war with another party, and get taken for a ride.
