there is only one mixture adjustment and it is the idle mixture adjustment. It has very little to do with anything above idle.
The accelerator pump is the first place to look. Like the man said, with the engine off, giving the throttle a twist should cause a little sqirt of gas to come out. This must work or you will get those symptoms.
