the OEM optional electric wiper for the TF years [covered in the shop manual] has a
mechanical switch , but there's an aftermarket wiper available that has an elec sw
for the hood, you might adjust the pegs at the outside corners of the cowl [careful they don't snap off!] - the hood should hit those, but they might hold it up - also the hinges themselves have some adjustment in their mounting
