Highschool hauler, you have to drill the head off of the rivet and then the knob is trash. You can get replacement knobs from JC, CD and etc. If yours is a 52 you will need to get the maroon ones to be like orginial.
I did this to mine to have them re-chromed, the repo knobs look as good as the orginials.
