Larry - you can tell it's a 57 by the mounting holes on the ridge each side of the grill opening - the 55-6 grill fits inside the ridge, 57 mounts on top of the ridge

the reason you don't find the 57 grills in catalogs is that they've never been reproduced - everyone prefers the 55-6 grill - you'd hafta find a good used one if the one w/ the truck is too rough
