Roy Rodgers 'Bolter R Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,636 Ranger, Texas	My 58 Chevy 1/2 ton with 3 speed trans and 261 -6 get about 11 mpg on the hwy. Doesn't matter about load. You get that if you are empty or pulling a trailer with a vehicle on it.
