| | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 23 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 23 | I've been reading what everyone said about the correct wheels for KENZ 51 Advance Design. You all said the artillery wheels he has must be for an older truck.
I have five wheels for my '46 Chevy. One is too rusty to salvage--huge flakes coming off. Two are original with three white pin stripes still on them. And one rim is a 1/4 inch wider than the other four. None of them are artillery wheels.
So here's my questions:
1. Were artillery wheels original on the 46/47 Advance Design 1/2 ton pickups?
2. What is the proper width for the rim? I understand it came with either 6.50 or 6.00/16 tires.
3. Were all the wheels in 46 and early 47 black with white pinstripes? | | |
